CONCEPT & DESIGN
Because the stories in the films were told in real-time by real-life Century 21 realtors, the V.O. is almost perfectly imperfect. These are non-professional storytellers spilling their stories with non-linear anecdotes and small details & emotions. The design duly reflects this stream-of-conscious presentation with an abstract, surrealist style that illustrates the key moments yet allows the audience to fill in the gaps with their imagination. It's less literal interpretation of plot points and more about visceral emotions and effortless transitions. The result is a fluid and elegant finished product.
