The concept that Spotify developed was oriented around showcasing scenes with music-centric, human-focused fun. Moth responded with a series of videos that perfectly embody that style—each animated vignette is full of humanity, levity, and tasteful precision.
Moth is known for being champions of color and texture. In these videos that skill is on full display. But additionally, in each vignette, Moth really pushed themselves to create compelling micro narratives. Each vignette is like a mini film, not merely a looping gif, but an entire story with beginning, middle, and end packed into 5-10 seconds. Paired with the spot-on audio design from One Thousand Birds, the vignettes pack a lot of punch in terms of texture, depth, and story.
