Hornet directors Dan & Jason teamed up with Creature of London to create this spot for beverage company Tetley UK. Using 2D, CG, and live action, the spot supports the launch of Tetley's "Super Squash", a drink jam-packed with vitamins. (For all the non-Britons out there, "squash" is basically fruit concentrate.) The story is a straightforward one: a bunch of dim-witted, hyperactive 2D fruits enter a vitamizer where they're transformed into smart, sophisticated CG fruits that have penchants for string music and String Theory. The success of the spot—as is typical with Dan & Jason—lies in the humor, which expertly swings between slapstick and dry.
