Boiler Room is an online music broadcasting platform that seeks to connect "club culture to the wider world, on screen and irl though parties, film and video." For the launch of their new show, "Crowdsourced", where dj's construct beats on the fly from real time samples sent in by fans, Boiler Room enlisted Andy Baker to create a 30-second spot that would find that intersection between effortlessly hip and effortlessly easy to understand. The spot, as it charts the evolution of a beat into a song, achieves just that—with some super smooth illustrations and sound design thrown in for good measure.
