We are delighted to welcome Ashley Monaghan as Executive Producer focusing on business development and sales.

Ashley's role is a director-first approach to expanding our creative opportunities and aligning with our directors' creative ambitions. This role provides a voice from within the team to help position our work and goals in the most genuine way.

With over 15 years of experience on the production side of advertising, Ashley's background in live action production, editing, VFX, and CG design & animation make her a well rounded EP. Ashley has a gift for fostering talent, building teams, and finding the best opportunities that fit their creative aspirations.

What excites you personally about this new role?

"I get excited by learning, and making genuine connections with people. There is so much brainpower within the team at Hornet, and I have been blown away by the brilliance of the people I get to work with. Our industry is constantly evolving, and changing to keep up with technological advances. I get to help figure out how to keep telling stories, and communicate complicated ideas in new ways for our clients. It’s not often you get to have a job where you can be creative and inspired on the daily."

What special skills are you bringing to the role?

"I’ve discovered that I’m a natural match-maker. I take the time to listen and understand what our clients’ needs are, while keeping the creative integrity of our directors’ needs top of mind. I enjoy breaking down a script and making the right creative fit. This element of match-making has been consistent in every role I've had, and I think it’s a pretty special skill!”

What excites you about the future of Hornet?

"There are three exciting things about the future at Hornet, in no particular order. Continuing to create beautiful work, Hornet Karaoke nights, and wooing all my new coworkers with my uncanny ability to find the perfect GIF for any moment."
