Spotify designed Wrapped 2022 as bold, loud and joyful. Our motion was made with that same expressive language. A dimensional reveal immediately calls a viewer's attention, a moment of genuine surprise.
In collaboration with the in-house creative team at Spotify and Hornet Director Vucko, we ideated, conceptualized and developed the full motion system for '22 Wrapped. The result was a rich set of guidelines and a bulletproof toolkit that was used across all social and digital experiences.
The Monogram, the 2022 Wrapped visual device, was a combination of moving shapes that feel both hypnotising and satisfying. There are 4 unique pieces of content that can be applied on top of any monogram. Vibrant color swatches are combined to create 6 available palettes.
There are an exponential amount of monogram, content and color combinations to choose from.
The text wall is built to dynamically scale to fit any copy length or text style.
Artwork within the compositions are easily updated and/or replaced by simply dragging and dropping image files.
