Kyle was approached by Google to create a series of background images for their new Google ‘Meet’ video conferencing application. He was asked to respond to themes such as ‘Connectivity’ and ‘Teamwork’ and so he devised a series of still life setups that would evoke these ideas. Kyle used a mixture of materials to construct each image and worked with Aaron Tilley to shoot the final setups. The images sit behind the Google Meet UI and each concept that he developed with the Google Team has a pair of images that sit side-by-side when using two screens to carry out a video call.
