"How Have You Been?" is a film that explores themes of grief, depression, and the ordinary routines of life during lockdown.
Crafted for WePresent's film selection during Mental Health Month, this piece provides an eerie and peculiar, yet sincere and universally relatable reflection on various aspects of the quarantine world. Andy once again collaborated with illustrator Polly Nor, a partnership rooted in their previous work on the Chelou music video "Halfway to Nowhere." Notably, the film was entirely created remotely during the global lockdown, mirroring the remote and isolated sentiments embedded in the subject matter.

Polly’s work has many layers and explores various themes whilst also allowing the viewer space to interpret it in their own way. It's such a strange time to be making films and having a story like this enabled us to explore themes that have affected us all in the past and are even more relevant now. The best thing about this world of Polly’s is that it always feels like there’s so much more you want to explore, even once you’ve finished making a film!
