Bee had the unique opportunity to visually narrate the tale of Maria Sibylla Merian, a daring German botanical illustrator from the 1600s. The focus was on showcasing Maria's stunning and intricate work, prompting Bee to keep characters and design elements to a minimum. All the exquisite flowers, plants, insects, and shells featured are Maria's work.

This project was a source of joy, being an all-women collaboration for Brazil's leading TV channel, Globo. Fantástico, a TV show that has been bringing families together since 1973, hosts Mulheres Fantásticas (Fantastic Women), a series dedicated to sharing inspiring stories of women worldwide. Bee's animated intro serves as a captivating introduction, paving the way for the exploration of contemporary Brazilian women who defy stereotypes and make groundbreaking contributions.
